CAMASIL® 100 (Wollastonite / Calcium Metasilicate)
CAMASIL® -100 is chemically a calcium metasilicate (CaSiO3 ). It is a naturally occurring white & acicular (needle shaped) mineral. In addition to CAMASIL® -100 unique morphology, it is alkaline, inert, has low loss on ignition, low water solubility & has low co-efficient of linear thermal expansion. CAMASIL® -100 is high Purity Wollastonite. CAMASIL® -100 is a naturally occurring mineral is non-hazardours.
Applications
As a white filler in Fluroelastomer.
